You could say that I have a thing for Boston, having run this historic marathon many times. It tugs at me in so many ways - from the fond memories of running with my Pittsburgh friends, also through personal struggles back in 2012 and 2013 too. It’s been a constant reminder of pushing through the tough times and staying focused on the journey ahead – and NEVER GIVING UP! Boston marathoners are resilient, many are “Type A’s”, we thrive to survive and love a good challenge.
