I created this special ‘word storm’ typography artwork based on my love of the many places that make Pittsburgh truly a special place to run - whether hitting the road or trail at many of our wonderful city and spacious county parks.
If you run in Pittsburgh, you are familiar with these many landmark places to lace up your shoes – from the North Side to the Southside; running in a local 5K like the “Dormont Dash”, to the family-friendly, “Run Around The Square” in Regent Square! Oh, and let’s not forget “The Great Race!” Our neighborhoods make it unique and yet challenging to run across the many bridges that connect us to another fun neighborhood. When you run up Mt. Washington, you are rewarded with such a spectacular view that many cities would envy.
Pittsburgh is strong as steel, but we runners are built with strength, grit, and determination. Run Pittsburgh!
